Last night was the first hard frost - wiped out the remaining annuals in my planters and hanging baskets. The water in the birdbath was frozen - I liked that the sun shining on it gave it a golden glow.
A nice evening, having met a friend for dinner and a catch up chat.
Speaking of catching up - I am getting there. Looking forward to a trip to Kansas City MO the weekend after Thanksgiving to see my son and daughter-in-law - my son (@vitamink) already has some ideas for good photo ops.
Wow it must be seriously cold where you are, I am desperately hoping it holds off here for a while as we have only just finished a big gardening contract....eeek!
Beautiful colors in this image. We have had a freeze or two also. Last weekend a neighbor's tree uprooted, fell across the access road, up our bank and into the top of our yard... I am not really ready for this!
