When I let the dogs out this morning I noticed the frost had caused my remaining roses to lose their petals - they froze off. I snipped some of the dead heads off and then noticed this one sitting on the frozen bird bath.
I poured warm water on the bird bath several times today, melting the ice, but the birds seemed more interested in the suet.
I was pleased to see this on the trending and popular pages - thanks for your support, friends.

@jankoos We have had a couple days for nice frost and I got some photos but none quite made the 365 cut. Looking forward to the next season and the photo ops it offers!
Very cold here, too -- a little snowfall that didn't melt as we'd all hoped it would. Nothing as beautiful as this rose to be seen here! Lovely capture, Jan!
