@grannym and @nanderson - thankyou! Struggling with health but my sweet hubby surprised me with a new lens for Mothers Day (from the dogs!) and I have been playing with it. Hope you are both doing well.
@pflaume Thanks Lisa. I haven't been around here much - need to try and start posting regularly. Hubby surprised me with a 100mm macro lens for my birthday in Oct. Haven't used it much and can't wait for bug and flowers to be around to do so.
@pflaume - aww thanks Lisa - and for inspiring me to get started again. I logged in to day out of the blue and yours was the first pic I saw. Glad you are still here (or back!). Another lens or two, the I will upgrade the camera. I want a wide angle and some kind of super zoom for birding. I decided early on to invest in glass first - and then camera. I shoot with a pretty bottom of the line dslr but it's taught me SO much.
@jankoos I am glad you are still here! I have been away so long that I thought all my old friends would be gone. I needed this project to get me going to clean up my Lightroom mess and organize/edit older photos. It's no fun when they pile up! It's good to be back and inspired to engage with photography again. I think you are wise to focus on glass. It's a big investment and one that will last.
@pflaume ditto, Lisa..I pop in periodically but hoping to stay longer. So glad u are here, too. Agreed about the glass..plus exciting to get new lenses.
