went out early this morning specifically to look for some sheep to photograph in the early morning light. Found this lot who very conveniently stood and stared at me for ages. I like the one on the right with mad eyes and the fuzzy head.
Not long now before they give birth to their lambs.
Hope the weather warms up a little first. I'd not like my landing to be on snow covered ground! I love how the light has caught the front sheep's eyes, making its gaze that bit more intense.
@mainebrighteyes Yes it is HDR (from 3 bracketed shots) which isn't usually sucessful in this kind of shot because of movement, but they were very obliging sheep and stood still. I dont really like OTT HDR (like my sky shot yesterday in my 'other stuff' album), so try to keep it as subtle as I can while still enhancing the textures. I cropped it a bit and played around with the highlights, shadows and contrast in PSE a bit too.
baaaa haaaa haaaa baaaa! just kidding... that is an awesome shot... the expression on their faces makes me wonder if they'd ever seen a human before! or maybe they were just wondering where the heck you found the moxie to step onto their turf ;p
