this is really an 'insurance' shot posted in case I can't get anything better to post for the 'get pushed' challenge where I have been challenged by @peterdegraaff to post a shot of "a big landscape from the Cotswold Edge, preferably at dawn or dusk" Unfortunately so far dawn or dusk shots have been impossible due to the weather and my reluctance to get up at 4.30am!
I can't say that I am particularly thrilled with the shot because to me it seems to lack a focal point. I would have liked to have taken this shot from higher up but in this area the top of the edge is covered in woodland so I had to walk down to below the trees. Very steep! I thought I was going to have a coronary by the time I got back to my car.
Here's hoping for a dry and not too cloudy dusk tomorrow!
This is quite a big scene and the clouds seem quite dramatic. The fence provides a nice line into the picture for the eye to follow, and I like seeing the distant fields into horizon. Like 16:9 pano view
