dark

in contrast to yesterday's very light and subtle (most unlike me!) shot of a dahlia, I took this in very low natural light with a very slow shutter speed, in fact the slowest shutter speed my bridge camera can manage (8secs). Apart from a bit of spot healing, a slight tweak in lighting and a bit of a crop I haven't done anything to this.

The flower is a rudbeckia which I grew from seed. They are in a late flowering border by our kitchen and are just about reaching the end of their lives
This looks like a painting -I like the choice of lighting!
