Sorry, but I hate autumn. I agree that the colours of the trees are lovely, and those misty mornings are great to photograph, but I hate watching the things that I have grown from seed, and that have been so beautiful all summer die.
It also is a sign of the months of trudging through mud and snow, carrying water out to the animals, that are just around the corner. (the months, not the animals that is :0) )
Blimey, I sound a bit fed up don't I? I'm not... honest!
I hate winter Jan and it's a shame it follows autumn. However, think about the spring and the bulbs that will be flowering after winter. I've lit my first log fire today and it's blazing away in the grate. That's one good thing about this time of year except for cleaning it out! Nice capture
Blimey you do sound fed up!! and look at your photo it's fed up too!! but what a fabulous capture sums up the end of summer perfectly, I think this shot is fantastic and I'm going to fav it!! :))
I feel pretty much the same. I don't like being cold & I miss the sunshine. I'd bring all the animals indoors if I could. Wet chicken poo - says it all.
@jlhopgood haha, you've mentioned wet chicken poo before. Every time I see some these days I think of you! When we got our first two rescue donks it snowed about two days later and I said to my husband, 'let's bring 'em in!' fortunately resisted the temptation.
