hay to donkeys is like sweeties to children. They love it but can only have it in small quantities or they willl get fat. Angus is the smallest and feistiest of the four and here his body language it telling Joey Boy to keep away from his pile of hay or he might just land a kick on him (just like has just done to Jack) Joey's stance is saying 'hey I wouldn't dream of stealing your hay, but if you put your ears back up, stop flicking your tail and move your back end away from me I might just have a little taste'
Up early for a Sunday. Sam, our youngest, was playing in his school band in a music comptetition in Northampton. He woke up saying that he hoped they don't win so he wont have to get up early on a Sunday again for the national finals!
Anyway, they did really well and have almost certainly won a place in the National Concert Band Festival finals next April. Very pleased! I think Sam is (secretly!) too.
