Dropped in at Farnborough lake on the way home from taking the kids to school this morning. The fog was still lurking around and a family of swans obliged me with a few sail pasts.
Police came round this evening to bring back our chainsaw which had been stolen. Apparently, they have one person in custody for the robberies but are certain that it is a group of five people who are carrying out a lot of rural crime in the area. Unfortunately they only have evidence to arrest one person, and that is the CCTV footage that was shot a few doors away from us.
Couldn't choose between this and the shot in my 'other stuff' album.
This does look better on a black background (magnifying glass at the top of the page)
I love everything about this - the light, the mood the composition. I agree with Helen - a touch of Apocolypse Now - particularly with the fallen tree. Fav
Oh I love this, with the mist and the trees and stuff. Fav. Tolerant swan-parents too, letting their nearly grown-up young stay in the nest through to this years. Ours kicked their gawky offspring out months back.
