Sick and tired of cold and snow, I decided to leave a bit early to pick Angus up from school and went to the butterfly farm in Stratford for an hour. I have only ever been there when it has been warm outside in the past, so it has been absolutely boiling in there. Today with it being cold outside it was very pleasant in there and the butterflies were much less active than usual which makes photography a lot easier.
Went to my Mum and Dad's this morning to wish my Dad a happy 75th birthday. Have to say, he was at his curmudgeonly best, bless 'im. It's a good job we all adore him.
That has got to be the most awesomest butterfly capture I have ever seen. Truly breathtaking.
Not only are the colors amazing, but the POV and magnification really put it on whole other level. Fabulous lighting, too.
