had a bit of a lie in this morning, the only chance I am going to get this half term, so I made the most of it. Well, until the dog started going crazy because a delivery man had left a package outside that is.
Discovered that one of the donks has got a very sore and watery eye, so got to have the vet out tomorrow. It might be conjunctivitis, but I am a bit worried that it might be something to do with the fact that they have just been given access to a new bit of land which has lots of brambles on it which they love to eat. Hopefully he hasn't got a thorn in it. Poor Jack, he normally is the soppiest, cuddliest donkey, but today he didn't want to know me.
Graham is staying in London tonight because he got to go to the Institute of Petroleum's annual dinner. Not exactly the Brits is it? Can't exactly say I am jealous, especially as I have got a snore-free night ahead to look forward to as he is staying in town.
Got to be up early in the morning because a BT engineer is due to be coming around between 8am and 1pm. Hmmm, sure I have heard that before recently......... Apologies in advance for my mood tomorrow if he fails to turn up!
Three good things:
A lovely day with my boys, they were actually nice to each other for most of the afternoon.
Found a couple of places this evening that might be nice to go back to to take some pics. And in a most out of character display of 'organisedness' I actually wrote down where they were this time.
Almost got the to end of watching One Born Every Minute before crying this week. Usually I blub at least three times per episode.
@fueast I think they probably were Alison. They were in a field right opposite a farmyard, and in the yard was a barn where quite a few had already been shut in.
It seriously looks like they all deliberately posed for this. I must have been watching too much "Shaun The Sheep" with the kids because this lot look a little shifty to me!
@judithg@jantan they look like one of the mule-types. North of England maybe, because of the straight out ears but not 100% sure.
Hope the donk's eye is ok - poor thing. It's is a great capture. Fav.
This is an instant FAV simply because you managed to pose them all so perfectly.
"You, stand up. Yes, I meant YOU. And you over there, lay the other way, but turn your head back to your left. Yes...just like that.
Now everybody say 'Sheeeeeeeep'. Perfect. "
