I love the view from this window in our bedroom at this time of year.
365 does have a strange effect on some of us - I even cleaned the window before taking this shot. The bear is 'Pip', my childhood bear which belonged to my Dad's cousin before it belonged to me, so it is probably about 70 years old.
What a gorgeous composition jan. I have always wanted a window seat like this, I can empathise with you cleaning your windows, all ours look like yours and they are not easy to clean. What a lovely old bear, well loved and he knows it!
Oh you have a window seat like ours...love your stone windows...I think I need to paint mine before I could take a photo...our bedroom needs decorating before summer soon! We have sash windows but I do love them...Yours look so lovely here & your teddy has a perfect place to sit!!
I love this shot! Found it on the trending page -- I too have a bear from a cousin. The bear (Teddy) is at least as old as yours and a bit more threadbare. Your shot actually conveys a lot of emotion as well as the beauty of the scene outside.

It is very nice to see an HDR shot done sensitively without all that surreal stuff that was around a few years back. Excellent composition with the curtains acting as a natural frame.
@nairda Thanks Adrian. HDR is often seen as a bit of a dirty word, probably for the reasons you say, but with the great contrasts in the shot with my lighting skills (pretty much none!) I can't see how else I could have done it.
