Really not sure if this photo 'works.' I kind of liked it but have faffed around with it so much that now I can't really see the wood for the trees.

If, as I now suspect, it's a complete load of rubbish please ignore me and move along.

Just spent the morning tidying the cellar so the plumber can get into it to service the boiler. Then got on with quiet jobs so I could hear the door when he arrives. The dog used to act as our doorbell, but is so deaf these days that that particular doorbell doesn't work any more - maybe she just needs her batteries changing. Was just starting to get a bit irritated because the plumber is so late and hasn't called to let me know when to expect him when a quick check of the calendar has shown that it is actually tomorrow that he is due to come. Oh well, no excuse not to get the vacuum cleaner out now I suppose.

And at least I have untangled the outside Christmas lights that have been sat looking at me in the utility room for the past five weeks.
