just a quick snap of Jack to fill a gap. Had a great weekend with my lovely cousin and her partner staying with us. Not much time for photos tho.

Jamie Oliver's 'Empire Roast Shoulder of Lamb' for dinner - an excellent 'put it in the oven before you go to the pub (OK, you can substitute that for 'for a walk' instead if you must) and it's all cooked and delicious by the time you get home' recipe even tho he did miss a couple of ingredients that were in the TV version (cumin and red onion) out of the recipe for the sauce on his website.

I've been meaning to try the empire roast lamb - my children described the empire roast chicken from his 'Jamie's Great Britain' book as the best roast chicken ever.
