I have been a bit off the radar for the past week or so. Partly because a group of about 20 of us went to the Fairport Convention Festival at Cropredy. We had a fantastic time. This picture is of one of our group in the dying light on the first evening. Just about the perfect evening for a festival really. Sadly (ex) Hurricane Bertha meant that the next day wasn't quite the same story - true festival weather and we were all soaked to the skin.
The festival takes place only a few miles from our house.Gone are my sleeping in a noisy damp tent days - these days I like to end up in a nice warm, dry bed.
