We have a small number of Oxford Downs sheep. They are an ancient local breed which is now quite rare. We have a few ewes, and two boys. Although it wasn't the original intention, the boys are now a bit too old for eating, so are now firmly in the pet category.... shhh... don't tell my husband!
He has a magnificent coat so you could always use that after....wash your mouth out Pat! @judithg Aw you remember Henry...we’ve left him behind buried in the field with two dogs & a cat, forgot to tell the new people where our graveyard is too!
Your boys will live for a good few years then Jan....you can never eat them anyway! Mind you they haven’t got names which is the big no no if you want to eat them!
And i thought I had a problem with my 2 unintentional cockerels!!!
