Lovely - keep planting them under the trees in our garden and they never seem to come back again - supposed to be biennial I think but mine appear to be annuals!
If you sow the seeds now Judith, then plant them out in the autumn, then they will flower next year. They should then self seed and their seedlings will flower the year after. I understand that they only flower once, but suspect that they sometimes flower again. You can get some nice perennial ones these days. Going to grow some myself this year. @judithg
@jantan Oh I might try that! It seems like a good spot but I wonder if the slugs get at the young plants - they don't seem to get at the borage mind you....
@judithg I don't think they like the hairiness of the borage. Tho I can never grow the stuff - shame because Pimms is on the menu for Sunday - might have to nick some from the allotments, it grows like weeds up there
