Nadine and I biked to Belle Haven late this morning. We were both feeling tired and didn't get started until after 11. Bike rides usually give me energy but it didn't work today.
We had a long break at a picnic table next to the river, but I left my camera in my pocket. This is a short water break on the way back. It wasn't hot enough to soak her head this time.
The cool dry weather is on its way out. This was probably the last day for awhile that it was comfortable biking during the mid-day heat. The humidity is back and the temperatures will get back in the 90s this weekend.
I didn't notice the yellow leaves when I took this, but it almost looks like fall is starting early.
I didn't take many photos today. It's easier to pick one photo when there's only one real option.
LOL! "One picture - One option"...so true and certainly makes life easier! When I was out and about, I noticed lots of yellow leaves, too. I wonder if the trees just stressed during that record heat or if Fall will be early. Nice peaceful photo and I like the angle with the curve in the path and the wooded fence along the path.
