Lynn suggested that I photograph some pollinators and said there are a lot in the gardens she maintains. I biked to the garden near TJ, the same place where I took the backlit tulip several months ago ( http://365project.org/jbritt/365/2011-04-14). This time I used my macro lens.
Her garden is gorgeous and I took a ton of photos. I spent about 45 minutes in the garden but it took several hours to sort and edit them. I think this is my favorite even though I had to crop it quite a bit. I will add the name of the flower after I ask Lynn. It's too late at night to figure it out on my own.
I was amazed at how interesting bees and wasps are when you can study them close up.
Great! Love how I can see the fuzz on the bee. The color of the flower is so vibrant. I have a new macro lens and have been trying to capture a bee of any type but I am always out of focus!
