I played with fruit and light again tonight. This is similar to my "Mango and Peach thru Glass" a couple weeks ago ( http://365project.org/jbritt/365/2011-06-13). But this time I only took a few shots. I really should use a tripod next time.
I took several other shots that I liked before I started playing with this, but decided to use this since it is different than many of my other shots.
@marytj I didn't do much post-processing on this except cropping and a little fine-tuning. The effect is from lighting. I used a flashlight in the dark. The blueberries are in a vase of water. The strawberries and mango are behind with the light shined on them. The rings are from the bottom of the vase and its reflection on my kitchen countertop. It's fun to experiment with light, but next time I should use a tripod. It takes a little more time to set up, but will give more reliable results than resting the camera on the counter on a chair like I did this time.
