As the clock wound down toward midnight I realized that I had not shot anything today. Yet. So I started thinking about taking my iPhone 4s outside and seeing what its limitations were for long exposures. That's when I noticed this average bunch of bananas on the counter, with the dim light from above the sink illuminating them.
Joe McNally once said at a conference I attended that to make something interesting in a photograph, only light part of it. I think he is right.
