The first tiny pink flower emerges on my Christmas bush - a bit early as usual. The flower will gradually change to a deep pink or red. It is a New South Wales Christmas Bush (the Queensland one is different) and would flower at Christmas in NSW, but up here in Qld it gets hotter earlier, so the bush flowers earlier. I'm hoping there will still be some flowers at Xmas.
