Probably not everyones idea of the perfect Australian beach! Where is the sun? Despite the cloudy day enticing no one to the beach, the lifesavers dutifully kept guard. If the banner on their tent is anything to go by, it looks as if someone has been on guard for the last 100 years. I took the photo last Sunday - I don't know if they are always there. I do know that the club in the background is a nice place for lunch as you sit just behind those glass windows so have a birds eye view of the beach.
Beaches are beautiful on a sunny day but there is something special about them on a dismal day when not too many people are on them. You've captured this feeling.
