A different viewpoint of our local bowling club. The awning slides along the wire to create an area of shade for the bowlers - and no - they are not the electricity wires! We don't play bowls and we have been in Mapleton for about 8 years now, so those who are members have given up asking. Both John and my parents were keen bowlers, but the interest has not passed on.
