Such a busy weekend. After the wedding we shot off to our daughters in Cornwall for the weekend. We spent the day at The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
Why were they lost you ask? Because during WW1 all the men were called up and never returned. Fir some reason the estate was forgotten until recent years. Today it is a thriving tourist attraction and a working estate. They have reinstated the kitchen garden, have sheep and cows and Gowland rare breeed pigs plus a woodland walk and events at various times of the year. Love this place
