close the clouds

Gamsfeld, top of a mountain in Upper Austria.

So close to the clouds - certainly one of the reasons why I like to be in the mountains. When I feel the mountains are well-disposed to me, I'm fine.
there is definitely something special about mountains

The power that mountains are so often over looked- this doesn't. Marvelous perspective.

Very dramatic. I can appreciate the sentiment of liking to be closer to the clouds!

Thank you all for your nice comments!

You know that the mountains have a special meaning for me. It is a very nice experience for me, if I can make you feel a little bit of this relationship to you.

Of course, a picture is a special world. - A world of colors and shapes and the relationships between them. Usually I see a picture very "abstract" - I see lines, surfaces, form values, the gestures of form. I am pleased with relations between them and let them affect me. "The sense of scale" is one of them. I hope that now and again I manage to match this claim a bit.

And please excuse my inelegant English. Sometimes it is difficult for me to form a sentence suitably.

I love the dark contrasts and the scale in this picture. And the human element as silhouette adds so much. Great picture.

You say so much in this wonderful yet simple image. About relationships between man and nature. About the power and might of the mountain. About the beauty and changing nature of the landscape. your relationship shines through.

Very much I would explain with words - as I see something; what I think and what I feel as I approach a subject for shooting and during subsequent processing. It could be interesting to hear and learn, how others do in this forum. It could be an interesting and fruitful exchange. My English is unfortunately very limited. I very much regret that therefore in some conversations I can not participate. When I am rather cautious with words, then this reason. Don't think that I'm impolite.

@annied
You are so nice and cultivated.
My English is very inadequate. My sentences are therefore very cautious. Very much I would write more fully and in detail. I like to express linguistically. Mostly I use Google translator. However, there are often very embarrassing mistakes. I need to repair much. I always hope that in my texts is not a lot of nonsense. The subtleties of the English language I do not speak. So in many conversations in this forum I can not participate. Some linguistic joke I unfortunately do not understand. I regret this very much.
Thank you, Annie, for your kind words. I appreciate you a lot.

@susiangelgirl
Thank you, Susi!
You are very polite... I know that my English is not good. I would like to tell more about me... what I think, what I feel... Inhibitions I have, because I am uncertain in English. I hope you're lenient with me.
