morning mist by jerome

morning mist

View from the mountain Sandling to the mountain range of the Tauern, a part of the Austrian Alps. The hill in the middle of the mist lake is called Gschlößl. Where the mist thins out, you can see some houses of the village Bad Aussee (Styria).
Beautiful shot.

@hrs Thanks, Helen, for your nice comment! I greatly appreciate your visits.
Yes, you have to get up early. When I start a tour, I leave at three or four o'clock in the morning. It dawns when I reach the Alps. So I have all daylight for my tour. And I've already climbed a mountain with the flashlight (but I do not recommend this to imitation).

looks like an island :-)

@debbyglynn
Thank you, Debby, for your nice visit!
Yes, like an Island in an ocean. I love those days, when dense fog is over the landscape and just the tops of the mountains stick out.
