takes my breath away Jerome. I always have high expectations of your photos...and am never disappointed. I do not understand how you can be so consistent...its amazing. This shot is quite ethereal.
@gosia Dear Gosia, excuse me, I do not quite understand your question - "regular bases": what exactly is meant by this? The current climb starts near the lake shore. The summit is reached after about 500 meters of altitude. Almkogel is not a high mountain, it is at the foothills of the Alps. But it's a pretty tour.
@catsmeowb Dear Camille - yes, it was a cold climb. But at the top I stood in bright sunlight and had a wonderful view of the foothills of the Alps. I enjoy those moments very much!
@hrs Dear Helen, thank you so much for your quite dear lines! It is wonderful when a photo sounds a string inside the viewer.
But I remain a seeker. Sometimes a photo succeeds, sometimes less. I'm trying...
@jerome we have small mountains here in vermont compared to what you are climbing over there, but they are offer a different kind of beauty. softer, more rounded, very green, but breath-taking all at the same time. i enjoy following your project often for your narratives; very peaceful, thoughtful and heartfelt.
@catsmeowb Thank you, Camille, for your kind words! So nice...
Oh, Vermont! One of my dreams: A hike in this region, in the Indian Summer... Maybe... sometime...
Thank you all for your so nice comments!
