Sometimes I have great wanderlust. Then I would like be far away and dive into foreign cultures, travel strange landscapes, hear other voices, have a another heaven above me...
if not for the jet this would look like a piece of tie-dyed cloth.. i'm loving the swirls and patterns - such a great sense of movement.. the jet looks like it is heading through a dark ring.. another superb image Jerome.. your creativity obviously knows no bounds..
Being a lifetime mover and traveler myself, I guess I succumb wanderlust often too. This is most interesting. There is so much to see, explore and take in, that I will always just go.
@jorlam Thank you, Jorlam, for your so kind comments on my picture! Every picture is a new attempt ...
A very sensitive way to look at pictures you have. And how beautiful you can put your impressions into words. From your profile, I gather that you are retired. May I ask what profession you have exercised?
@joysabin Thank you, Joy Sabin, for your nice comment!
A lifetime mover and traveler... that's nice. There is so much wonderful. Life is too short for all these beauties of this world.
@blueberry1222 You also often feel reiselust? The beauties of this world - you would like to visit them all. Looking, feeling, being on the road - living and experiencing.
@jerome No profession Jerome.. mother to 5 children.. i had my own green-grocery store until poor health forced closure..
i did have a spell working as a portrait photographer - absolutely detested it.. it was like a conveyor belt - no soul, but it brought in the pennies..
when my health improved i helped my husband with his landscape business. always loved being outdoors, in all weathers.. when not working i walked my dogs.. now, poor health again is in the ascendant. but, i'm enjoying my solitary life - enjoying my photography and have no room for complaint.. :-)
@jorlam Thank you, dear Jorlam, for your friendly information! I hope my question was not too obtrusive ...
Mother of five children ... that is much more than a profession. This is a real task that requires the entire attention and affection. I guess you can look back on an experience-rich life. I admire very much what you have accomplished under apparently not simple conditions. I wish you very much that now you can live as much as you like.
Your linguistic expression and your look at this world are unusual. I am very pleased to have met a very sensitive, alert and cultivated woman.
Kind regards to England (Essex?)
Thank you.
Wonderful wandering, whether in reality or imagination - in the image and also the words expressed in so many comments. One of the greatest treasures of this 365 project is the diversity: of people, cultures and personalities encountered.
Wonderful, introspective words for this photo of the sort that captivates us all when we look up and see it above! (Well, I certainly always think "Who, Where and Why"!)
