The Mullein pupa which had safely overwintered in the coldest part of the house eclosed (Hatched, emerged) today. He went out into the night where moths belong after the wings hardened.

@fishers@milaniet thank you. Mullein moths are rarely seen, not often attracted to light. The only ones I’ve seen have been raised as spectacular caterpillars, a definite bright contrast from the quietly beautiful and understated moth.🐛
