Saw my first ever Rosemary Beetle yesterday and today very excited to find 2 of these exquisitely beautiful little insects.
My new 90mm macro lens is perfect for revealing just how gorgeous they are.
This is 15 images stacked in camera using the "S" (very close) setting and then slightly cropped.
They are male and female - I won't say what they'd been doing...

@365projectorgchristine@koalagardens arenât they just? I knew in theory that they were incredibly beautiful but never expected to see for myself and definitely not in my own garden. They look almost riveted together and then highly polished, I think.
