Word of the Day by jetr

Word of the Day

If not for my iPhone, I'd have had NOTHING today! Not very original, but another little peek into my typical day. Morning assembly always includes an Inupiaq (Eskimo) word of the day.
I enjoy the window into your world.

A sweet capture. Are your students bilingual?

@kerrynz @mbemis Thank you both! These kids are from families whose elders still speak their native Inupiaq, but they attend classes at school to try to keep the language and culture alive. Most of the kids aren't fluent in Inupiaq. I have learned a wee bit of the language, but I'm a definite novice!

Ich freue mich täglich auf Deine Bilder. Sie sind immer so überraschend und es ist, wie wenn man durch ein Schlüsselloch in Deine Welt schauen kann. Ich danke Dir dafür.
