@cruiser LOL, Chris! The shop was FULL of mounted critters. I started to capture them, but it was kind of grim so I looked for tamer subjects! @aglennc Have you been to any of those places, Anita?
@jetr Homer, Seward, Turnagain, Valdez, Whittier ---- We spent nine weeks in Alaska in 98 when we had drove our motorhome. Awesome trip. Arrived in Steward/Hyder on July 3. They were busy celebrating both the US and Canadian holidays. Great fun. Took plane from Fairbanks up north of the Circle, tour-bussed back. Bus broke down at the trading post at Joy..... Out to Chicken and Eagle. Anchorage, of course. Gosh, I'd have to look at the massive photo/journal album to see where all.... Also been to Alaska three other times. Once, coming back from Japan/China/So. Korea on a cruise -- visited Unalaska, Sitka, etc. Two Inland Passages cruises.... Hoonah/Icy Strait Point, Skagway, Ketchikan, etc. and then back into the back country of Denali for a couple of days at a lovely lodge. And Denali was visible both days we were there! We'd go back to Alaska in a minute.. Absolutely love it!!
