My new Newspaper Club has 10 members, 3rd through 6th grade, complete with journalist uniforms as members of the press: fedoras, lanyards, and flip tablets with golf pencils. They take their monthly newspaper assignments very seriously!

interviewing skills, taking notes, as well as photographs to go with their stories. Back at the club meetings, they write up their notes and then I do the layout. That's the next learning curve - teaching THEM to do the layout! Lots of fun.
