"Free Motion Quilting," my first attempt! Uneven stitches, pointy petals, (yes, that's supposed to be a flower!), crossed lines...it's a complete mess, but I'm trying! For the Get Close challenge - I'll also be working on my close up & macro skills. I need practice on everything!

I think this is a great first start! My first one had a lot of pointy, boxy parts that were supposed to be swirls!

I found I got better when I tried this - not quite like this, but outlining the pictures on t-shirts when I made a t-shirt quilt, but it did take practice.

Its harder than it looks. I too am a quilter and free motion quilting isn't my strongest skill. Great effort!

Looks a good start to me although I don’t do even basic quilting, so what do I know?
