I took the transit ferry across the Rio Tejos to Cacilhas, a neighbourhood of Almada, in anticipation of getting an amazing view of downtown Lisbon. Meh, not so much. Lots of things to see along the Cacilhas waterfront, though...fisherpeople, graffiti art and dilapidated old warehouses. Oh, and the gigantic Cristo Rei statue, a copy of Rio de Janeiro’s Christ the Redeemer.
