House martin or swallow? I'm not sure but this chappie was making a lot of noise as I passed under his nest. And what an amazing nest it is. After flying all the way from Africa I'm amazed the birds can be so skilful with mud. It's a feat of engineering.

Fabulous shot. We've had house martins at our house a number of years ago. They are smaller than swallows I think, shorter tails too but still forked. We were quite glad when they stopped coming as they were very messy on our windows as the nest was in the apex of the front of our house! But awesome constructions .
