A friend and I went to the 1865 gallery at Boat of Garten for coffee. The building used to be the village hall but has been sensitively renovated. Delicious home baking and a very pleasant ambience. A favourite of locals and tourists.

I have only been at Boat of Garten once and that was on a visit when cooking at a church camp for boys in Forres........and Allan was one of the leaders. There are so many places still to explore.
