Today I revisited what years ago used to be one of my favourite 'thinking spots' in the village. I was surprised to find that so many trees had grown up that I couldn't easily get to my usual resting place. The wild flowers were stunning and it was silent apart from the cry of oyster catchers. Bliss!
I'm a retired Episcopal Church minister living in the Highlands of Scotland. I've no photography skills but want the challenge of seeing the world around...
Lovely just to sit quiet sometimes, life is taken at such a lace these days. You have just the spot here! Beautiful Jennifer. Which river is this please?
That's lovely and mirror frames work well with scenes like this!
There is something special about thinking spaces with running water. In the stillness of mornings the sound of the little stream by the edge of our garden is delightful......I should really get out there more often!
@sarah19 I'd love to have a stream in my garden. 100 years ago there was a lochan at the bottom of my garden (I have a photo of it) but sadly it dried up. Water is so therapeutic.
