Wall flower by joa

Wall flower

Had a great time shooting with Jani @janim yesterday. Lovely weather, identical shots of cherry blossoms. I don't think Jani has this shot, though. (And yes, I'm aware that this is not a cherry blossom shot in the first place.)

Neat composition.

Yes I believe he may have pic just of the vent;) Seriously that vent makes me think of him but those flowers give this certain softness so that I wouldn't think this to be one of his. I like that Softness, and I like how those flowers makes this otherwise very orderly shot look more lively, if that makes any sense:)

Pretty composition and textures.

@susale Makes sense. :) And that was my goal too, to combine organic and non-organic elements in the shot.
@kwind Thank you! :)

I don't have a picture here :) The organic vs inorganic thing is cool ! The vent alone would've been boring even to me ;-) Oh, and good comment there about the orderliness and liveliness... something I should think about :-P @susale

@janim Good thing we aren't exactly alike. :D Orderliness / liveliness, dynamic / static... Cool combos.

@joa Quoting Klaus Meine : " There's no one like you" ;-D

@joa Yes I thought about that too, and there´s great contrast between man made and nature as well order and not order; not just flowers but flowers that grow how they want, and not in a straight line. Nothing to think about here @janim , your style looks just different to me, and nothing wrong with that, I do love your pics afteral :), It´s just cool to see something similar with a twist :) No hard feelings, right ;)

@janim The universe is a better place because of it. :D :D Makes living a lot easier. ;)
@susale I'm just glad I'm not a Jani-copycat. :D Not all the time, anyway. ;)

@susale of course no hard feelings... your comment just hit me home, because I was there when this shot was taken... and I think the vent would've been more interesting to me if I had taken a shot. Now seeing this, I know I would've taken a crappy shot. Juxtapositions are so important and man-made order vs chaotic nature is a pretty cool juxtaposition.

@janim Just so you know - you wouldn't have taken a crappy shot. You would've taken this exact same shot. :D I've got a few where I've got some of the darker colored wall on the top, and would've probably tried out a few more compositions, if I had had a different lens with me.

@joa Oh I don´t think you are at all :) There´s of course his influence to be seen but I think you still have combined it with your own style very well. Here is a perfect example, as I said I suspected that this was not his before I even saw the name, I believe Jani could have had flowers here too but I think they would have been more in order, somehow.and even the wall looks softer, more feminine...I better just shut up now:D

@susale Hahah, yeah, this is a girly shot. :D
