I loved my sunrise photo shoot & hike, even though it meant I had to get up at ridiculous o'clock. This was one of the first frames I shot and this alone made it worth the effort, I think. I hope you like it, too.
@northy Exactly that! I felt so at peace there. One of these days I need to go there without a camera and just meditate. (Although I suspect I'd be frustrated to bits if I couldn't take any shots of the view... Hahah! Photographer's dilemma...)
@joa don't i know that feeling... have forced myself to NOT carry the camera this week as i need to sort thru the vacation shots and be done with them... and then i walk out of the office and the light is to die for and i have to force myself to enjoy the moment and not kick myself for not having the camera ;p
@tande It's a pain when the phone wakes you up at 4.10 am, but just wait a week or two and you don't have to get up as early to catch the sunrise. ;) (And if you go to a location that is closer than an hour's drive from home, you'll save time for sleep, as well. Heh. My next morning shoot will be within 20km of my front door. I hope.)
@joa well, I'm used to wake up at 4am for work, but for some reason never managed it to do some photography... I think I'd be more comfortable staying up until that xD
Peaceful & zen - what a beutiful place! Seesteisen kaunis paikka, missä tää on? Kiva usva oli sunnuntai aamusella, mäkin raahauduin Humikkalaan kuvaamaan mut kyl se paikka kieltämättä on jo niin nähty & kuvattu, et vois jotain uutta paikkaa hakea.
