Desperate times call for desperate measures. Who suggested the word umbrella for February. Must have been a Brit. LOL Mine didn't like being taken out of the car and thrown on the snow and made a break for it.
Great shot....hahahah! we used an umbrella one year to make a place for our elderly dog do her "business". She wouldn't "go" in the snow so my husband dug into the snow down to the grass and put an umbrella over it so would have a place. She went right to it and then back in the house. That was that last time that we had a significant amount of snow until this last week end. Of course we aren't home so I guess it doesn't count.
@mittens@wendyfrost I was trying for an artsy look and took several shots when I reviewed them is when I got the idea to combine them by extracting some of the umbrellas. I am so glad you enjoyed because it was a quick job. Thank YOU!
@libertylady@libertylady Oh please follow. I want people to follow me so I can get some ideas on what I do well and what I don't. Please don't ever hesitate to give a helpful suggestion because that is how I will grow.
@jld29 Yes, England and France, at least they have had a lot of rain and that is why I teased with the "Brit" reference. I love to tease. I hope no one takes offense.
@eyesmile Gena, thank you for visiting again. I am enjoying this conversation we are having with our pictures. I hope you stay put until things are better.
@miata2u Oh, my not used to waking up to so many comments and have messed up some of my replies. Thank you for the follow. As I said above please chime in with helpful suggestion because I want to grow as a photographer.
Great shot! Not a lot of use for an umbrella in my neck of the woods right now either. A snow shovel, maybe... :) Hoping to sneak in my landscape shot for Get Pushed today!
Didn't get time to comment yesterday Joan so I'm rectifying that now - very 'arty' this; you are putting a lot more thought into your compositions... good stuff.
Suggestion of the Day: you tend to upload your pictures at a size of 320x240 pixels which makes them rather small and there is no 'large view'. The optimum image size for 365 Project is for the longest dimension to be 1024 pixels - a 100 dpi will still be fine. Your file size will be a bit bigger, but the viewing experience will be a whole lot better. Hope this helps..
@vignouse I am afraid I will use up too much space. Think that's the accountant in me trying to keep my space small as I would the costs. I will keep this in mind today. And you had me worried that something was wrong yesterday so glad you were entertaining.
