A rose

You know I thought joining this was an inexpensive thing to do and then I find myself buying more camera equipment, candy, flowers and other things. But I got a rose. I was trying a different idea and it didn't work. Still beat so I gave up. I'll be out shoveling tomorrow morning. UGH

This is one super red rose Joan: because they look so beautiful and simple, it's tempting to believe that we might capture that loveliness with a simple click of the shutter. Anyone who has tried photographing flowers however, learns quickly that they are among the most difficult of subjects to capture well. This is a really good effort... and practice makes perfect.
