Going for a twofer. @morrisphotos challenged me to take a black and white. Don't know if I can on my camera. But I read that it is better to take the picture in color and then change to black and white because you get more shade differences. I used a Gradient map to do this. I like that method. And the word today is bud. If you seen my pictures lately you know there aren't any buds out there so I did the play on words.
@morrisphotos Ain't she sweet. I was holding her and holding my point in shoot in one hand and trying to take the picture. Two kept turning her head. She knows a camera click by now.
It snowed for a bit but not much in the way of accumulation and then it turned to rain and got icy. I was glad to get home from work and be off the roads.
