Dreaming of summer delights

5 more months before the tomatoes show up homegrown. But I can pretend can't I. Thinking of having a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich for lunch. So why not play with light a little. March not coming in like a lion so that doesn't bode well us.

Ohhhh...my favorite veggie/fruit (?)! Nothing better then a fresh tomato still warm from the garden....sliced, with a bit of olive oil and crushed pepper! ummm.....great image nicely composed and presented!

Wonderful capture of late morning light. And that's actually a nice looking tomato. I don't buy them very often at this time of year as I find them tasteless compared to our own summer home grown.

@barbarajdonnellan Totally know what you mean. This was one of those on the vine tomatoes and I kept it around for a while to ripen before I used it. Not bad.
