I actually got out of the park after lunch yesterday. Just to show you a little more of Portland. This is the back cove area. There is a walk that has been extended to go all around the cove. I couldn't get this whole tree in without climbing on a snow bank. And guess what we are getting a little more snow this morning. And I have a dentist appointment and hair appointment this morning. The dentist is a 45 minute drive. More like an hour if it is snowing. Having a pity party.
Look forward to seeing more of Maine. I've read a few books that are based there, cant remember now which ones, and obviously Cabot Cove! It always sounds and looks lovely.
@debbie3108 Debbie the Cabot Cove in the TV series never looked anything like any part of Maine I knew. And fake Maine accents are always more Bostonian then Maine. But Maine is this wonderful place of beaches, mountains, lakes, and streams. And when it warms up I will show you all.
@pjr This is Portland on the coast of Maine and they have less snow then where I live. But that ugly gray matter at the base of the tree is in fact snow. This is salt water with a tide so doesn't freeze over very often.
