Reading on the trip home. by joansmor

Reading on the trip home.

One of my "from my car" series. Took this last night when I was parked out front my job. I always have trouble with saying I am reading an audio book. I even went so far as check out the definition. Doesn't really fit. I listen to audio books on my hour drive to and from work. I also read from my kindle (which I just had to replace) on my lunch hour. The audio books I can get at the library.
As a fellow book-a-holic i totally understand :-)

I too am reading an audio book, and I like to say I'm reading with my ears.

What a great idea to listen to books on your commute! And I am enjoying your series!

I do audiobooks on an MP3 when I walk-such a convenience. What Kindle did you get?

Great idea. I might strat doing that too!

@chocolatesocks Who do you like to read?
March 30th, 2014
@featherstone I used to say listen but everyone else says reading so I went with convention.

@eyesmile It's giving me something to photography when I can get outside to find something.

@atwinfay Paperwhite. I didn't want one that was like a Ipad as I have enough obsessions in my life.

@bookthiefsfriend I usually upload to my iTunes and can plug my classic Ipod into the car and listen or am lucky that my car has a mp3 player.

Great way to use the commute time creatively Joan.

@vignouse It will have to do until I can just program the car to drive me home. That doesn't seem so improbable any more. Then I could get some knitting done.

What a good way to capture the feel of the long drive and the important role of audio books!

I listen to audiobooks from the library on my commute too. Currently: Looking for Me by Beth Hoffman. I read from my Nook at lunch time.

@johenn I knew we had a lot in common (while other than our types of jobs) Are you more intellectual then me. I love mysteries and love stories. Lisa Gardner is someone I just recently discovered.

@joansmor I doubt if I'm more intellectual than you . I mostly read SF/F. Some mysteries. Biographies and , lately, with the genealogy project, history. I don't do a lot of romance I've recently started reading Debie Macomber, Robyn Carr, Suzanne Brockmann. Ilona Andrews does avery nice romance/fantasy series (The Edge series).
