You're impossible lady! OK, critique as requested. I figured it was some kind of reflective fabric but then found myself totally unsure as to whether I was seeing the actual colour of the fabric, or the colour of the light reflected from it... and it adds something to the photo that I don't know which. I like photos that pose questions rather than providing answers. I like too the graduated lighting. Not a great abstract, but one that holds the eye for a while. The second version answers those questions before they are asked and holds little interest for me - I wouldn't class the second one as an abstract. Just my 5c worth - hope you find my musings helpful.
I cast my vote for this processing. I like the graduated tones - the texture is less obvious but I'm drawn to the highlighted area and the emphasis on color variation.
@vignouse Would you believe your not the first to call me impossible. Actually I should have been mor clear and you could have answered simpler = I just wanted to know if it was abstract. I like both for back ground papers for a page of my auto pictures when down. Your critique is close to my thoughts. If I could I'd send you & Mrs, S some homemade bread for being such a brat.
@barbarajdonnellan This was a totally boring picture without the processing. The two added filters I loved. Friday's are a bad day for photographs. I think I am just too beat. No snow here how are you doing?
@johenn We have to play right! Lack of flowers and greenery. This is inspired by you and Shanna. Concentrating on one area - photos taken from inside my car. Thanks for the inspiration. Great place to go when I lack inspiration elsewhere.
