These really pop on the black background but I don't know how you achieved it... I don't think it was done in camera and I don't think it's a layer mask. Do tell.
@vignouse Richard, you will laugh because when I processed I was concentrating on the flower. I took the next shot to the editor and in RAW I changed the camera profile to "camera vivid" something I do a lot. Then made a few adjustments and the background goes black. I play with the camera profile a lot.

@joansmor I was looking at it on my iPad and the background looked black; now that I'm viewing on a 27" monitor, I can see that the background is, in fact, dark blue with some lighter shades... nicely done though.
@vignouse On my lap top it's black if I have the monitor in my normal place and I get the colors you say when I pull it forward slightly. That I guess is digital. In the lower left corner is the leaf.
