Fuller Gardens by joansmor

Fuller Gardens

I learned a lesson today. Enthusiasm doesn't trump heat and humidity. My nephew and I hit Fuller Gardens about noon time after doing a few things in the morning. They let you use any photographic equipment you want. I was excited. A few pictures in the sweat was flowing and my minds was swimming in soup. I think I got some decent pictures but not the best. My mind just swam. When we left I told my nephew they could stick me in a cow pasture and use me for a salt lick. But the gardens were beautiful. This is about the only one I got of a big view.
Nice shot and pov

Oh, I have always wanted a garden like that!

The heat sounds quite miserable -- and to be there at the height of the sun was probably really tough. The reds in this pop beautifully against the hedges. You did well under very trying conditions!

Now you know why I don't want to get out to photograph in the summer here.

Looks like a beautiful garden, Joan. You can see the heat in the light.
