I learned a lesson today. Enthusiasm doesn't trump heat and humidity. My nephew and I hit Fuller Gardens about noon time after doing a few things in the morning. They let you use any photographic equipment you want. I was excited. A few pictures in the sweat was flowing and my minds was swimming in soup. I think I got some decent pictures but not the best. My mind just swam. When we left I told my nephew they could stick me in a cow pasture and use me for a salt lick. But the gardens were beautiful. This is about the only one I got of a big view.
The heat sounds quite miserable -- and to be there at the height of the sun was probably really tough. The reds in this pop beautifully against the hedges. You did well under very trying conditions!
